Did You Know? Just because you heard the term “waterproof”, that doesn’t mean that water damage will be covered under warranty. Modern iPhones are water-resistant, but the strength of that protection varies from model to model.
Having your device’s battery or screen replaced might impact this protection, depending on who performed the repairs. I thought it would be fun to take some underwater pics with my iPhone Xr in Cozumel. It turned out ok.
